Services provided:

• 7000m2 Internal Ground Floor Slab – 175mm thick with 1 layer of continuous mesh reinforcement. Machine laid continuous pour with a powerfloated finish to classification FM2 in accordance with Concrete Society Technical Report No.34
• 6300m2 External Hardstanding – 200mm thick with 1 layer of continuous mesh reinforcement. Pavement laid manually using large bay method with a brushed finish & trowelled margins.

Why we were chosen:

• Use of our own Somero eXtreme Platform (SXP) Laser Screed
• Expertise in all types of in-situ concrete floors – Internal & External

Issues and constraints we had to work around:

• Internal Slab: Completed in only 4nr days. Required pours of 1750m2 per day with 300+ m3 concrete delivered, laid & finished per day to very high level tolerance. We achieved this using large area laser-guided pour technique
• External Hardstanding: Completed in only 7nr days. Required pours of 900m2 per day with 180+ m3 concrete delivered, laid & finished per day to very high standard. We achieved this using large bay construction method
