  • 900m2 External Hardstanding – 200mm thick with 1 layer of mesh reinforcement. Pavement laid manually using traditional ‘hit & miss’ bay method with a brushed finish & trowelled margins.

Why we were chosen:

  • Extensive experience & expertise in all types of in-situ concrete floors – Internal, External & Composite Upper floors
  • Experience & expertise in the application & finishing of dry-shake toppings
  • Recently achieved status as an approved sub-contractor for Morgan Sindall PLC
  • CCF Ltd able to handle a ‘multi-floor’ sub-contract package

Issues and constraints we had to work around:

  • Internal Slab: Maintenance area floor required a coloured dry-shake topping to provide a hard-wearing, maintenance-free floor surface – we drew on our experience and expertise to achieve this
  • Working over under-floor heating & a large number of service points meant careful working & close co-operation with client & other contractors.
