At the beginning of September 2014 we travelled to Bracknell, Berkshire to complete the supply and laying of an 8000m2 concrete screed for a new multi storey car park facility.
This is our first job completed for clients R G Cater Projects Ltd, with their client being Waitrose supermarket, the sixth largest grocery retailed in the UK. The main purpose of the finished multi storey car park is for visitors of their head office next door.
We were taken on to complete a 95mm concrete screed to be laid on top of hollow concrete beams incorporating a layer of A193 mesh for strength. We completed to job in 9 pour days with a brush finish and saw cut joints. As the job was a multi storey car park we had added complications for forming steep ramps and slopes in order for levels to be connected.
